When you were child, have you been a good or poor eater ? (good eater: eat a lot of different things, poor eater: eat only a few things, unknown)

The body knows
I characterized myself as a "good eater," but my parents would not have agreed. Retrospectively, I ate foods that were very good for me--based on what we now know about nutrition, as well as what I know about my own bodily needs. I refused a lot of "you don't know what's good" foods--for example, my mother loves the fat in meat, and I won't touch it, and I avoided most nightshades, to which I have a mild sensitivity. Although my family did not understand my dietary preferences, my diet was far healthier than theirs was.
