How do I edit this phenotype?
Blood type (or group) is defined by a variety of antigens expressed on the surface of red blood cells. A person's blood type is important in determining what other individuals' blood they can accept in a transfusion, and how their blood can be used after donation. There are 32 human blood groups, of which the two best known are ABO and Rhesus (or Rh, denoted as + or -).
Inside Your Genome has measured several SNPs in the ABO gene which can be used to predict your likely ABO blood status (possibilities are A, B, AB, O).
