Enbrel mildly ineffective
I had been on methotrexate (MTX) for 22 years when my rheumie suggested stopping MTX and going with Enbrel alone. After nine years we realized that was a bad decision because several joints had slowly but incrementally worsened (finger, jaws, neck, balls of feet). It appears that Enbrel masked the pain and swelling.
